Backup folder same exact size, number of files off.

Hi,

I have OSX 10.7.5.

I did a drag 'n drop backup of all my data which I keep in a folder called "00flles". Whenever I do that, when it's done, I compare the file size, etc. of the source folder and copy.

I copied the folder from my go-to external hard drive which is an Iomega AC powered external hard drive onto my new Seagage external portable USB hard drive 1TB.

This time, there was a difference which confuses me;
**The file size in BYTES and GB are the same.
**But the NUMBER OF FILES is wrong by 26 files.
I've never seen that before. Should I be concerned?
The source and backup folder are the exact same size in bytes and GB. I'll attach a screenshot.

I re-did the backup and got the same results.

I also went into SYSTEM PREFERENCES --> SPOTLIGHT and forced the Mac to re-index both drives by adding both drives to do-not-index box under "PRIVACY" and then removing them a few minutes later and verified that Spotlight did re-index both drives.

Should I just leave it alone and be confident that my backup is safe due to the BYTES and GB sizes being identical and just ignore the 26 supposed number of files difference?

Thanks in advance.
