I've been using Office '97 on XP for years. Last week, I bought a new desk top that came with Windows 8. I soon discovered that I'm unable to install Office '97 on it.
What I've read online is that Windows 8 is incompatible with many older versions of Office. What are we to do? I have all my files that were created with Office '97 on a lap top and also stored on an external hard drive. Does anyone have any suggestions how I would be able to use these old files on this new computer?
