My startup will have a wide variety of technology needs, and its unlikely that someone exists with expertise in all of them. However, he/she ("he"/"his" will mean both genders!) must be able to manage service providers in areas where help is needed.
As a "new media" enterprise the following areas are critical (not necessarily in this order) to our development:
Website design
Database design and administration
Membership administration
Payment processing
Security (including content protection)
SEO
Mobile apps/access
Social Media/forum administration
Identifying the best hosts for the site
Video production and post-production
What is the real "title" for such an individual? Where would their resumes be found? What form of compensation is typical for such an individual (salary/bonus/equity). What level of education and degree focus? (eg MBA in _____?)
