I have an abit motherboard in one of my desktop computers. It is an older model computer but worked great until recently. Anyway, one day when I went to boot my computer it gave me a CMOS error hit f1. I replaced the mother board battery and everything was good. Well after just a few days I got the same error. Once again replaced the MB battery. This time it was working fine until it froze up and I had to hit reset. I got the same error message but now when I hit f1 it goes to the log in screen but just as it gets ready to go to the windows log in screen it stays black. I guess what I am asking is if this motherboard has seen it last days? I have never experienced anything like this before where a computer eats motherboard batteries like this in such a short amount of time. Any help or opinions would be appreciated.
