Mavericks missing Drivers and Software incompatibility

Like a moth to a flame, I had to install Mavericks. I swore I was going to wait until 10.9.3 came out. Did not make it.

I did a CLEAN install on both my Macs by using a Mavericks bootable USB install drive. Instruction article: HERE Oh! Don't forget to use Disk Utility FIRST and ERASE the drive BEFORE installing Mavericks for the "Clean" install.

Mid 2011 Mac Mini downstairs went smoothly. It is really not my main Mac and it is used for iTunes and connected to an HDTV. I also have an Apple TV too. Every time I used the remote for the Apple TV unknown to me I was accessing and playing iTune content on the Mac Mini. Solution: Preferences-Security-Advanced UN-CHECK infrared devices!

Early 2008 Mac Pro is upstairs and IS my main Mac. Some hurdles:

1. Sugarsync lacks Mavericks software.
Update: "SugarSync’s Free 5GB Plan is now only available on a 90-day time limited basis. In order to continue using SugarSync, we request that you upgrade to an Annual Plan within 30 days. If you do not upgrade in the next 30 days, your account will be cancelled." I'll pass...

2. There are no drivers for my HP LaserJet Scanner G4050 (there is a workaround for the Scanner by simply booting into Bootcamp - Windows).

3. I have saved Apple Pages documents and the "new" Pages screwed them up. "Your Document Has Changed". No kidding. I have to clean them up.
Pages Update: I believe these documents started life as MS Word and I copied and pasted the content into Pages when I began using Pages exclusively. The "new" Pages are incompatible with the Font chosen.
