Yeah I have the
Linksys EA4500 N900 Dual-Band Wireless-N Router with Gigabit and USB storage router
I tried to plug in a 32 gig USB thumb drive into the back, to see if I could share files over the network, but the drive isn't showing up in homegroup in Windows 7. (or windows 8 or XP for that matter)
Does anyone know anything about this smartwifi USB storage stuff?
I go into the smartwifi control panel, and the USB stick does show up there, but the folders and files don't show up under shares, and I can't access the drive thru my computer like I can other computers on my network.
Could it be the USB stick itself? I haven't tried a USB hard drive yet. hoping to once I can afford to get one, but if I'm having trouble with the stick it makes me wonder if I'm going to have the same issue with a USB hard drive also.
