Spy Alert was accidentally installed on our computer and I cannot delete it. She had used Uninstall and it said it was removed but IT STILL RUNS. We are running Vista. MS Security Essentials did not stop it. . I used other spyware checkers (Superantispyware and Malwareantibytes). My work used it successfully on a co-workers computer so I tried it. They are not detecting it. Help anyone. Will eset nod 32 detect and remove it? And can it be used with Security Essentials. I had it on my old laptop and was quite happy with it.
Another strange thing happened. We had McAfee many moons ago, 4 years maybe. And suddenly it was installed but not running from what I can tell. I uninstalled it thru the program uninstall in Vista.
