Spy Alert Software was accidentally loaded onto our computer. It is probably malware/spyware. She tried the uninstalled and it said it is gone but it keeps showing up. In the control panel, can't find "Spy Alert' but I do find Long Island Solutions which I think is the SpyAlert company according to an internet search. It is an listed as an updater . When I do an Uninstall, it displays it is a MicroSoft product- then I cancelled the uninstall because I am not sure. . But I do not think so. Any help out there? Is this malware stuff? And Can I delete Long Island Solutions? it's the only thing listed under this publisher?
