Moving favorites from DVD to New Computer

Hi folks: I copied my favorites to a DVD and I'm having a tough time getting them onto a fresh computer. I put the DVD into the fresh computer and tried to import the favorites using the import/export wizard, but when I get to the part where I put favorites in the browse window and click browse, I get a "Can't find the file" error message

I moved the favorites file onto the desktop but that doesn't help either.

Any ideas?
