Windows 7 Activation

I've been using W7 since before it came out. I purchased it online from Microsoft and downloaded it to a CD. I've never had any problems until now. I updated the Motherboard, CPU & memory and got everything up and running without any problems. Except --- W7 ---. It's wanting to be activated again. I've tried everything they've said and nothing works. I've used the phone in method and that was rejected. It sends me to a site that tells me to go to the registry, but the instructions do no correspond with what is on the page they direct me to. I've tried (several times) to get support help from their website, but the certificate is outdated and nothing I do allows it to come up. I am at a loss. Does anyone know what to do to get W7 reactivated?
